Sky Design was asked to design the 50th Anniversary commemorative book of the founding of Columbia, MD. This 3-year endeavor – working with the Columbia Association archives, editors, seventy contributors, and photographers – produced a 400+ page book of essays and a 10-page visual montage of archival imagery.

The publication served both as a celebratory keepsake for Columbians as well as a higher education textbook describing the tactics and dynamics in the development of a planned city.
